Thanks to this member, I was able to open my hood today!
If anyone is wondering... my cable snapped off, then the black covering pulled down over the metal inside rendering me unable to pop the hood. It went from bad to FUBAR. Matt shot me some secret pics how to pop the hood in an emergency situation if you ever get to this point (which let's hope you NEVER do). Thanks again man, it's stuff like this I appreciate boards such as this!
