Another Glow Plug Light Question...
I did a search first, and checked the 80 amp fuse, etc.
This evening my glow plug light did not come on, but the car started fine, but it was started earlier today. The glow plug light worked this morning (7:00 am) At 2:00 pm, it worked, when I started it to give a friend a Jump Start. This evening at 7:00 pm, the glow plug light does not come on, but the car started fine, but it's only about 45 degrees outside. Is there something to worry about when giving someone a jump start? I have only owned the 240D since spring, and I do not know the history of the glow plugs. Time for a change of GP's just so I will know their age?? Thanks in advance for any input. George |
