p1369 & p0200 code 1997 e300
Hello all,
I am having an on going problem with my recntly purchased e300. Anyone know what what could cause p1369 & p0200? car runs fine, but stumbles a little for the first 2 min when cold. Otherwise the car has great power and is very smoth at idle. Thank you |
P1369
P1369 Engine Temperature Light Monitor Failure.
|
P0200
P0200 Injector Circuit Malfunction
|
thank you both for your reply. What would you say these codes mean?
"Engine Temperature Light Monitor Failure" ?? "injector system malfunction" ?? what should I test or or look for? Thank you, Alex |
First step
clear codes.
test drive. check for new codes. |
Thank you for your feedback.
I did just that (reset the codes) and P1369 comes back almost immediately while idling. P0200 still has not come back. Any other thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks, Alex |
Sorry
No further data on that code.

Hmmm
Could well be the sensor indicator bulb is bad.
What a sense of humor the engineers have = a code for bad bulb. ROTFL |
did replacing the bulb work? MY "new" 1997 e300d won't pass emissions testing because of code p1369.
thanks Jason |
Does the temp light come on when you start the car? I think it is on, on my car during the glow period. It's a red light that looks like a thermometer next to the temp gauge.
|
I thought P1_369 was a bad #5 or 6 GP???
Is your GP light on? |
P1 369 is for a bad Glow Plug as posted!!
|
get ready for the next interesting chapter in the ongoing story of OM606 glow plug replacement... :(
