another valve adjustment topic
Hey,
Rhino's post on valve adjustment got me thinking but I didn't want to hijack his thread. I adjusted the valves and it went fine. Not too many were off. The problem is I lost low end power after the adjustment. I went to adjust the Alda valve but the screw was all the way out. I thought that was odd. Does this mean the Alda needs to be rebuilt? The good news is the mpg increased. Any ideas would be appreciated. Danny

A markedly noticable power loss after a procedure many times means something got knocked loose, like the tubing to the overboost protection relay. May be.

Check your banjo bolt if you havn't in awhile. It may be a contributing factor but wouldn't clog suddenly like that. You must have knocked a boost line off or something.
