MercedesShop.com lettering is missing and is clearly open for debate of placement and content, but here's my concept for the basic badge.
I think it should be round with "mercedesshop.com" across the top and "online forum" or something to that effect on the bottom in wraparound letters, going with the round logo.
Our mileage badges are round, so why not?

I'm thinking black letters on silver or white letters outlined in black on a silver badge.

Diesel Discussion black lettering or white lettering.
I also like the idea of a black outline around the edge of the circle.

I've received a conditional go-ahead from Bill Wood. The caveats are that they must approve the design and that they retain future production/distribution rights.

I really like the MercedesShop logo anyway. It's just a matter of keeping the look and consolidating it.

Put me down for 2 badges - 1 diesel and 1 generic, if you split them. Otherwise, 2 of whatever you come up with.

Gravy-man: Likin' the designs! I've already got some smooth wrench imagery at home (I'm at work now), that I didn't know what to do with, maybe I'll rework it into a similar shape as yours, and get some collaboration going. ;)

And for the record, any artistic contributions I make to the project would be freely donated to mercedesshop.com. :)

Wish I could find my original Bavaria badge but it has long since lost all it's color and I'm sure that old BMW is dead by now.
Anyone know of a source for these things that has an extensive selection?
