what is the differance in the dash wood trim, the differance in the wood used??? Dennis

In Australia, many 30Ds only have the plastic trim. Some, like my wife's '82 300D have the strip across the dash, glove box etc. Others, like my '84 300D, have the full trim including the heater controls, ashtray and console.
