Wood trim questions
Well I found an Immaculate piece of wood trim to replace my aging cracked wood trim where the power antenna, moonroof buttons are etc. It works out good because I have the manually adjusted AC control which does nothing, and the wood piece is from a 300D. So I am planning to take out the little adjuster for the AC that doesn't work, and put the 300D wood trim right over where it formerly was. My question is, what do I have to do to remove the current wood trim? I don't care if ir gets hacked up, but what is easiest way to remove? I have to remove all of the buttons first I assume...

Pry the buttons out from the front and remove the connectors. Then if you can get into it you need to reach in behind the dash and there are three metal tabs on the backing plate that holds the wodd in place. These tabs have been twisted from behind the dash such they crimp the wood trim to the dash.
Untwist them and you can remove the trim and backing plate.

Oops.
Kyle,
sorry I did not read teh post fully or rather did not see what was typed there... The directions I gave are fro the piece of trim that fits on the dash just above my antenna, rear light, sunroof, rear defogger switches. This may be a different panel than you are speaking about in your post. Sorry if I spoke out too soon.
