Pry the buttons out from the front and remove the connectors. Then if you can get into it you need to reach in behind the dash and there are three metal tabs on the backing plate that holds the wodd in place. These tabs have been twisted from behind the dash such they crimp the wood trim to the dash.
Untwist them and you can remove the trim and backing plate.
