How standard are MB engine mounts between models/years?
Would a W202 take an old OM601, 602, or 603? I would love a c-class with a nice little economical and reliable diesel under the hood.
I also am trying to figure out if the tranny, diff, and all bolt up too.

Although some mounts may look identical and fit from one model to the other, they may in reality not be identical. Engine weights are different, and engine mounts have been designed to support specific engines.
You can verify this, by looking at one of the on-line Mercedes part suppliers, [Fast Lane is a good bet]. Specify different Mercedes models, and see if their database comes displays the same engine mount part number for the for the various models of interest to you. Phil
