Front Passenger Door Won't Open with Key

Is this normal and does it only open with the main locking system? Or is there a way to fix it?

This is not normal, but is not too unusual either. If the lock etc in that door malfunctioned at sometime in the past, it may have been replaced by one that does not match the drivers door/ignition. Have two cars this way myself. You just need the key for that lock, or replace with one matching the drivers door from the dealer.

Not normal. Possibly the ignition tumbler and driver's door lock was changed but not the passenger door. Or maybe the lock is bad. Does the key work in the trunk lock?
