Getting ready to do the valve adjustment on my 81 D engine. Have bought the wrenches to do the bending/grinding in preparation. would like to know in advance which way to turn the locknut to unlock the acorn nut.
If my understanding is correct I have to hold the acorn nut from turning and loosen the locknut. Looking down from the top will I turn it CW or CCW to loosen? This is my first attempt so bear with me for dumb question. Thanks in advance for your response(s). Willie (Poor Soul) ![]() |
