240D motor locked up then not, then locked up
I brought home my 240 today when we were taking it off the trailer my son let the clutch out in gear and it stopped it.I allready new that the motor was froze so I pulled the glow plugs to see if I could get it to turn over.I was able to move it buy turning the fan.So I spun it over with the starter. To see what would come out only fuel came out.so I put the gp back in and tried to start it .It tried to start but it was like it was out of time it shook around a lot and there was fuel vapor comming out of the intake. Then it stopped whanting to turn over I thought it was the battery or the starter but it was not it was locked up again.when it was turning over oil pressure went to the top of the scale.I did not here any bad noises.could it be timming chain or what ever drives the cam.
