Question Tool kit?

Can anyone tell me what was in the original tool kit that came with these cars? My car did not have a tool kit in it when I bought it and I figure the factory kit would have at least those things that I should start with to keep in the trunk. Back when, I carried all the tools owned but now The trunk wouldn't be big enough.

Mine came with a jack, a spare tire and a lug wrench. I carry some metric tools, pliers, screwdrivers black tape and bailing wire in a soft bag (to prevent rattles). And a spare quart of oil.

As far as I could tell from a 300D euro I was stripping at the yard, there is a red canvas roll pouch with what looks like low quality open end wrenches, a couple of screwdrivers, I want to say an extension handle for the lugwrench? but I could be totally wrong on that. Can't remember because I didn't elect to take the toolkit due to its apparent low quality. The kit I saw was made by Heyco, there may have been other manufacturers. Final assessment- nothing special. Get yourself a USAF mechanics' toolbag and fill it up with essentials. That's the ticket. The bag was made to rest on the wings of aircraft without falling over. Very compact, handy, and durable and will hold a surprising amount of tools. You can even sew a MB patch on it if you're that enthusiastic.

On my 300D it came with a jack, spare tire, a couple of screwdrivers, a lug wrench, and extention for the lug wrench, all rolled up in a red canvas pouch. Nothing too high quality, but enough to get a tire off and on if needed. I also carry a metric set of sockets a quart of oil, and transmission fluid as well.

They also came with a really nifty First Aid Kit that sits in the pocket in the rear window.

Mine still has the original first aid kit and the original tool kit. The tools are low grade for sure but still nifty to have none the less. What puzzles me is why they put two pairs of pliers in it. I don't think that these cars were meant to be worked on by plier mechanics.
