Thinking about a 1992 300D (opinions please)

Being sold in the Car's section http://www.peachparts.com/shopforum/showthread.php?t=122279

Besides Carfax anything specific due diligence wise I should do? Anything specific to look for? Anyone here use this shop in the Atlanta area and can vouch for the owner?
