83 300D Shifter Bushing: quick question

Over time my shifter has become looser and looser, and recently it hasn't be grabbing park all the time unless I jiggle the shifter around and it catches, so I figured it is time to replace the bushings. I did a search, and found that someone used the "tapered spool" type bushing, but there was also mention of a "top hat" type bushing? Which one is the correct one? Thanks in advance.

afaik, theres only one type of bushing but i havent heard it referred to what you called it. check a parts site that has pics of their items and see if you can find a pic of one.

Thanks for the help guys... I just went ahead and ordered some of the tapered spool ones that are for "AT Shift Linkage" - I believe that one is for underneath the car, and I also bought the bushings for the "Shift Lever" - they are cheap so I figured if I got all of them I would cover myself.
