anyone have a picture of 606 CCV port in valve cover?

Does anyone have a picture to post or link to showing where under the black plastic cover to find the hose that goes from the valve cover to the last resonance valve in a 95 606?

Thanks,
Sixto

Nothing from the CCV goes to any resonance valve or any sort...

What are you really asking? The CCV from the rear of the valve cover dumps everything into the intake manifold right before the end of each runner on the intake manifold...

I'm on archive overload

I was under the impression the dumping of CCV into the intake manifold was regulated by a resonance valve. Apparently it's a free flow through that cobweb of small fragile hoses and connectors.

Since I have your attention, what does the valve under the crossover pipe do and what does the valve in the middle of the intake manifold do?

Thanks,
Sixto

Ok, we'll take this one step at a time. The round black valve under the intake cover is the CCV valve, Essentially all it does is allow air flow in one direction. At least that it the intention of the valve.

The cross-over pipe that goes over the the engine, there is a valve there that control the airflow throughout the intake manifold.. This has been covered before in other thread(s).... Simple solution for the CCV to keep things clean is to re-route teh gases to vent through a pipe to the outside, not back into the engine. The oil vapors combined with the soot the EGR brings in causes the nasty paste that builds in the intake chambers of the cylinder head and inside the intake manifold...
