24 year old a/c just blowing cool air here is what i did.
I did some research and found R-12 but they wanted $100 to put it in and 100 dollars a pound.. so i kept searching i found this stuff called freeze 12 it said it replaces r-12... i did some research and found that you could add this stuff to r-12.... but they wont tell you that because of the epa... so i added a can of freeze 12 to my system and now i rush to work becasue i get cold in the car...

uh-oh, here come the freon police!!!
Aargh!! Don't mix refrigerants, it'll cause contaminated recovery units/tanks, premature follicular degeneration, men and women living together, the end of life as we know it!!! (plus it gets the EPA all excited)

So many people put junk in their systems and I don't have a refrigerant identifier so I can't take the risk of contaminating my recovery systems.
