90 degrees 90% humidity, hard to do precision work on my burned out dash..
Its 90 degrees with 90% humidity, and its hard to do precision work on my burned out dash..I'm going to post a picture tonight showing wahts underneath a Mercedes 85 W123 300D dash.
The dash came off very easily, and was a lot easier to do then I suspected. I got a few kicks driving the car without the dash for a few days because I'm not going to put it on until everything is better tha new.
I ran a whole new wiring harness under the dash with some 100 soldered and shrink wrapped joints.
Its hard to do this on hot days and it really fries your patience.
As soon as this car is back on the road, I will sell my SAAB 9000 Turbo which was an interesting car but just not a Merecedes Diesel. I have decided to keep the Mercedes--the SAAB was jsut until I got the 300D finished....
