Front brake light on; 1st time ; 300D
Just had my service light come on for 1st time re: front brake pads (85 300D-T). I've never replaced these before...since auto shop in HS decades ago...
Is this some thing that should go to the mechanics , or is it a "piece of cake" to DIY?

One of the easier jobs to do. Do a search and you will find a ton of info. Don't forget new wear sensors and brake pad backing paste!
