New rec/dryer question

I replaced the compressor, rec/dryer and drive belt last weekend. Vac pulled, OK not perfect, and R134a installed. (free from person helping me. also used compressor)
Understand, for now I'm just trying to get the AC going cheaply. I know about R-12 vs R134a and all that, so save that stuff for later.
My question is, the rec/dryer I installed (new) looks just like the pic below, exactly, from Fastlane I think (the pic). My question is, does the pressure switch go into a hole left by removing the bolt circled in red? The switch on my old one seemed to be attached to something screwed into that hole, kind of an intermediate connector between the two. Looks like the threaded hole (if there is one) would be too fat for the more narrow threads of the pressure switch.
I know the R134a will have to be evacuated, which is fine as we believe my exp. valve wasn't working, causing last weekends work to be a disaster anyway. Will get a new exp. valve and will also install pressure switch at this time, just wondering how it 'plumbs' in.
Tried to take that piece off my old one, but it just sheared off. I'm guessing it was threaded.
Help?

That does look like the one which the pressure switch will go into...
However, just to cover all bases in case they have thrown you a curve ball... the pressure switch is actually in contact with the refrigerant... whereas the temperature switch is not.... it works from convection... so which ever hole is into the refrigerant stream when you open it up ..that one gets the pressure switch...

Yea, the temp switch fit fine into the blue arrow marked hole, which as you said is not plumbed into the freon 'path'. I was just hopeful that someone has used one of these, and knows for sure how the pressure switch goes. I can't imagine them selling it on these MB sites if it wouldn't "plug and play". I'm guessing on GM versions there isn't the same switch?
You get the 240 AC going yet?

I bought one of those exact rec/dryers and had to send it back. The threaded hole was not the right size and although the part numbers are close, they are actually two different units. The one that finally came worked fine and the threads were correct.

Did you check to see if an adapter from the local Ace Hardware would fix the situation ?
JimmyL has a free R/D ...

Not exactly. I had to buy the R/D, but it is already installed and the system has been charged. (Exp. valve kept it from working we theorize). Right now the system has no pressure switch, which is unacceptable. I didn't see an option on any of the websites for different R/D's. You would think this situation would have 'come up'. It will be difficult to get an adapter with my R/D already in the car.
Sigh.......
The one in the old R/D sheared off, so I couldn't use that fitting. And I can't tell the thread size with the bolt in said R/D.
Sigh......
Will have to overcome this somehow....

Ouch!!

The only MB thing that has gone smoothly for me was pulling the interior out of your white TD.
I'm betting that fitting between R/D and pressure would be obscure to find.
Does anyone have an old R/D that might have the switch and fitting attached? That would probably be my best way to find it. Anyone??? Like I said, mine just sheared clean off. The threads stayed in the R/D.

The threads are American to the AC systems..... pessimism has crept into your shop area... go to the best hardware store around and find the adapter fitting....
