The better side of E-Bay
Ever since I joined this forum I've been hearing a lot of bad stories about people getting burned on E-Bay. I've got a couple I'd just as soon keep to myself. Nevertheless, I do have some rather remarkable successes sometimes. Here is one of them:
This is a brand new TIF R12 Contamination Detector selling for about $300.00 (originally it listed for over $600.00). I just received it this evening for a whopping total of $63 after shipping! Might just go such some good R12 out of the junk yard (provided it passes the test (or Larry tells me this model isn't any good and I'd be a fool to do that). On another auction I got the 617.95X service manual for $4.95 because the seller (an estate broker) misspelled a couple of words. The deals are out there if you look. Got any to share?
