Somehow it just doesn't have that lightweight effect like your green 240D...


Hey I'm curious if it has Option 912 - HD suspension package. That number should be on the front data plate, if it came with it... Not many out there with that - besides mine, so far I know of another euro-wagon that has this option and it's on Ray's '85 230TE.

Nice find. I was going to go look at it myself, but never got the time.

By the way, anyone know what a nice '84 300td euro wagon with a manual trans is worth? About 175k. Don't kow much else yet.

I am assuming this Euro 300TD w/ a manny has the NA diesel... correct? Can you find out the condition of the body/floors, interior, mechanicals, etc... And does the car also have service records & other pertinent doc's? Photos would help... Anyway, as you may know prices vary greatly with gray-market imports... depends on many factors, but the fact that it has a manny tranny is already an advantage for the seller. Maybe you can also get the VIN or chassis number we can run it at the Russian site in order to verify the original options (and manual trans) it was assembled with… I'm curious...

hey, can you re post the pics? Mine also has the 617952 and no egr, I have black leather, etc, no abs... ahh well. did you figure out why the speedo was off so much? I bet someone threw in a dash cluster from a federal 123 or changed out your diff... hmm, vin shows 82, not 84, but 84 could be when it was imported... nice! re post some pics though!

I do have pentas but they went on the SEC. these are ronals. the bundts were overly hideous on this one when I got it so they had to go QUICK.

dog cage...I wish. my dogs just climbed around it, so much for that idea.

Nice Euro TD and with the elusive cargo net to boot! I want to get a set of steelies with hubcaps but the Ronals on a TD are really starting to grow on me.

Your lower chin spoiler looks almost exactly like mine Any advice on fixing the rust? I'm thinking about just cutting it out and welding some new metal in.
