Brake Caliper, 240 1983 - bendix or ATE???
Greetings... this is my first post.
I found the place with a search of google and I am delighted to see there are others that seem to think the W123 Mercedes diesel is great car. I have a rather nice 1983, 240D with manual 4 speed trans. which I am now fixing the front end of this car which includes the upper control link, drag link, tierods, shocks, etc. I have to replace/fix the front caliper on this car due to the fact that they are leaking. my question is what brand of Caliper is good Bendix or Ate? Also what should a spend for a Rebuilt caliper and were I should buy this part at. Thanks in advance and good to see others with interest in this type of car.. MK |
