I wish I were a little closer. I am in Piedmont SC. I have noticed that this guy has sold other MBs on Ebay. If you are seriously looking, the first thing I would suggest is buying the unlimited Carfax. It is about 24 bucks or so for a month and well worth it. The add says the car was always is SC. It may have been but it seems to have alot of that whittish mineral etching looking residue indicative of salt (i.e. northern winter road slush) on the intake and valve cover. Maybe just the way the photo looks. Not a bad looking car though for a stretch.

This is not typical.

It gives me far more confidence than the typical e-bay seller.

Just be careful regarding the cylinder head.

Looks like a really nice (relatively) low mileage car from the pictures - which I know can be deceiving. The only noticeable fault is the wear on the inside of the front tire. Tire looks pretty shot anyway wear-wise. With the seller guarantees, it would definitely be worth a closer look.
