$2.48 per gallon

I bought diesel in Georgia last night at a pilot station for $2.48 per gallon...prices from New smyrna Beach to charlotte, NC ranged from $3.29 in Florida to $2.48 in Georgia...and everywhere in-between along the way...The station 2 miles from the pilot had diesel fuel for 2.69..Oh well, made it fine and will turn this thing around for a return trip on Monday...keep nailing

Got it here this a.m. at a Shell for $2.47, yet the Citgo 10 miles away is $2.77.

Cheers,

It's ONLY the equivalent of US$3.44 or Can$4.05 here in Ajax, Ontario!

(Where's Ajax, Ontario? :about 20 miles from downtown Toronto).

Latest windfall for petroleum companies

#1 Exxon
#3 Royal Dutch Shell Oil

Have posted profits in the 3rd quarter in the billions. So much so that congress is atempting to levy a windfall profit tax...and redistribute some of the profits back to the less fortunate.

All the while the oil companies are crying saying that they are using the profits to stabilize future energy needs of the american public.

Now if thats not letting the fox guard the hen-house. Lets get on a higher roost in this coop.

The problem is us, the consumer, we buy fuel from many different oil companies. What we need to do is buy fuel from one company only, that way the others are forced to sell it for less and then start the price wars.

Rosa Parks left us a good example and we need to put it to work again, we can drive the other companies out of business or lower their price.

If next week the price of gas goes for 5 a gallon and then they lower it to 4.50 we will be perfectly happy because is .50 cheaper. How long can we take this attitude from a an oil company?

Lets buy or fuel from EXXON for the next two months, you will see that BP and Shell will lower their price to get you back on their pumps, then the price war will begin. This is just a test, post this anywhere you can to make a difference.

Sounds good to me...but as soon as we all agree on this...the oilheads will meet at their secret hideout...where the door has an eyepeeper latch and they are covertly smoking hooch and making up the next cover story to strip up of more money...then they will figure a way to sell their oil to eXXON...KINDA LIKE THE SHELL GAME...but with more fumes....but i LIKE THE WAY YOU THINK

I saw $2.89 here in town.

The government might try to make moneey off the oil companies massive profits but that money will never make it to the people who need it.
The government just cut hundreds of million dollors out of the food stamp program. Do you really think they'll put it back?

Shell has been the cheapest around here lately....$2.47! RUG at the same station $2.43.

Exxon is $2.77 so I'm afraid I won't be joining the boycott wagon.

I saw RUG at $2.19 at a new station that just opened. they do not carry diesel.

Cheers,

Bill
