I just replaced the transmission on my 300d. The old trand had lost all forward gears. This trans slips in all gears, but at higher speeds, it cruses fine, and then from first up it slips again. I can rev the car up, or ease into the throttle, and it makes no difference. Any suggestions?

Start by disconnecting the vacuum line to the modulator.
With that disconnected the trans should shift VERY hard!
IF it doesn't then adjust the modulator until it will shift hard.
