Getting ready to hit the concrete seas...

Headin' home to Maryland. Ain't been there a spell (like about 2 years) so I forgot why I left, after a day or two back I ALWAYS remember.

Looks like I'll be taking the BMW 735iL, which should be interesting. I SHOULD take the 190E 2.3, but I think I'd like the extra room of which the 190E HAS none, lol. Not with 4 people anyway. I'd prefer to take the 79 Free Wheelin' F100, but it won't handle two car seats... as I'm sure I'll find a bunch of junk to take back, then again, the 735iL will hold a family of Mexicans in the trunk. Gonna miss my CB and Scanner, however. Don't feel like wiring the Beemer up with that stuff (190E and F100 are my 'normal' drivers).

Can't wait to see all those nice policeman going up 1-81 through VA.

Might pick that 300D up when I get back...

Yep. It's actually always a easy drive, and gets easier every year. I can actually do it in 3 hours less time then the old days (55mph, no tunnel, lots more twisty two lanes, ect...) so it's pretty cool.

I can't blame them for getting away though, I did a long time ago, and havn't been back but a few times. Every year or two I make a 3-4 day visit, that's enough for me, lol.
