Thanks for all the advice!

But sadly my car was stolen this weekend. I don't regret the hours I poured over this board learning about diesel engines though. Seriously thanks for everything, thanks to this boards existance.


BUT at least I still have an MB I just picked up a 91 300E. I'm going to sadly miss the milage I had with the diesel, and the grease car kit in the trunk but at least this car's faster haha.

I still have the 1978 just not the 1987


I got a good deal on the 91 one though, I miss the milage I get from diesel though. *sigh*

Keep an eye for it on ebay unless it was in good condition. Seriously though you might get it back somehow. Hopefully it is not being used for parts by someone out there. Fortunatly I have never lost a vehicle to theft.
