EEEEW. Look at the color of this wagon!

I think this is the worst color I have seen on a MB yet. God that is awefull.

Although I did have a '74 Chevy Nova that was canary yellow, but that benz is more pee yellow.

does that look like the rockers and behind the rear wheels have been repainted and dont match to youall?

it almost looks like a bad photoshop, but that would be too easy to figure out-- as soon as you saw it, youd drive past=P

i kind of like it, the hubbies match too. but what color interior would you put in that? pea green would be asking too much, i bet.

ive always disliked palomino, its just off key.

yeah I noticed the brighter paint too. That yellow doesn't look so bad. I think your right there is a hint of pea green in there too.

i like plain old classic white

it never goes out of style, rarely looks dirty and, i mean...you can almost clean it(mine isnt clearcoated) with a brillo pad if you want!

i have a question about the white. whenever i was at the dealership, i parked next to a w220 500 that looked to me to be the exact shade of white. are they still using the same color?

about the pea green-- id like to see this car have a pea green interior. it would be just too disgustingly cool.

I like the color....and it's in nice condtion. I spoke with the seller, he's a eurpoean garage worked on MB diesels; but not this one. He's selling it for the owner who's in Italy. Says it 163,000 on it, engine and trannsmission are excellent condition. AC blows but not cold, minor rust on tailgate edge and wheel wells....

Might take a look.

It seems that only the Euro models come in the bizzare or ugly colors. I once saw a 123 coupe that was an ugly shade of pumpkin orange. EWWW!

My (as of 2 weeks) 240D is yellow, but seems like it is more in the "cornbread" realm of yellows...I dunno, I really like it. I hope the photo link posts. This is my first post so pardon if it doesn't...

Color is weird. The front hubcap looks to be the same green as my wife's 77 300d--European delivery. Price seems very good. Too bad it's far away.

When I was looking for my wagon, I told myself I would buy the best wagon I could afford, without consideration for color. But inside, I was crossing my fingers that I wouldn't find the perfect wagon, in baby-poo brown. I got lucky and ended up with Silver. Black or Blue would have been better, but the Astral Silver looks really nice. The only downside is that the clearcoat on the silver is apt to peel, and can't be just buffed down like the single-stage paints can.

Let that be a lesson, people, classic colors never get old. This years trendy colors get old FAST. White, Black, Silver, Blue, Red, they will never die. Urine Yellow, on the other hand... Not so hot...

peace,
sam

If you think that green is bad, I'll bet you $$ the interior is cloth and in a black/baby***** green houndstooth pattern to boot. Yuk.

That color looks great on the late 40's, early 50's Buick Roadmasters.

i dont mind that color

it is not my first choice but i would drive one that color.

the only benz i ever got rid of cause of the color was my 90 300e 2.6. it was bright red. just didnt seem right for a benz.

my excuse was i wanted a diesel. so i bought a 91 300d. that was a nice car but not one of my better benzes. i paid too much and i think it might have had the speedo turned back.

The inside is dark green cloth. SLS works fine; engine starts right up and sounds great. All windows work and so does the blower. Euro lights, no sunroof. Tranny shifts at the points it ought to. No excess smoke at any speed. I saw it and made an offer... I pick it up tomorrow and when I do I'll be back to 50/50 am I ? well :fork_off: Got a more unique wagon? I've got a AMG SEL and a 560 SL... I can afford a few snickers...this is !! and I am ultimately self confident.
