Update on my totaled '85
I don't know if anyone remembers but my '85 300D got totaled about a month ago. I ended up getting about $2,900 for it from the insurance company. I guess that's not bad but I spent that alone in just the last two years fixing things. Anyone else get a similar amount for theirs after being totaled?
I'm selling the car (for next to nothing) to a friend of mine who is going to have the left front frame rail pulled straight. I found a new fender, bumper and headlight assembly for $100 for it. At least it will be back on the road. Scott
