My car is running well (got a valve adjustment and new air filter today), so I won't be working on it, though I might consider resoldering the joints in the ACC panel. I'll also be resting up and preparing for the first day of school, which is on Tuesday.

i'LL BE WORKING

But it would be nice if more people would close for the holiday. I don't think the US takes this holiday too seriously since most people will be working.

I couldn't agree more with Tom. Mr. King had a dream, and folks trying to lead today have an agenda. (Reverands that don't seem to have a church?)
I will be working also, but many places not working here Monday. I love seeing replays of that young kid on TV that knows Mr. King's entire speech, and delivers it amazingly.

you had to be there..................and know this was the home of Mayor Marion "Crackhead" Berry http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/local/longterm/tours/scandal/barry.htm and his very politically incorrect practice of putting certain groups into jobs for no other reason than campaign support...

With corrupt fools like that running the local government Greasemans quote takes on a whole different meaning that it would at face value, something the non-locals would not understand.

Unhappy

Gotta work on MLK day; but will play plenty of Bob Marley tunes who was also a rebel in his own right.

I edited my comment to add a little background for those NOT familiar with the local DC politics......with that to put a show based locally here you will see where that came from.....like I said....if you were HERE...(meaning local to DC) you would see his comment in a different light.

Marion Berry makes Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson seem like soft spoken upstanding people.

It wasn't the blatantly rascist comment many what you to think it was....but........you had to be there. Both of those other two frequently say far worse and nothing is ever said about it.....

In any case...I'm working even if its at home.....off the clock.

Working. The grocery store only closes completely on Christmas and at noon on Thanksgiving. My boss just thinks me being out of school is for his benifit, so I can be there that much earlier to stock the freaking groceries.

so some day

you can be the boss like i am.

and i will be working because i need to make money. so it is nice to have the choice but most small business owners like myself, choose to work.

i need one of those plates for my car that says "i owe, i owe, it off to work i go".
