Just got this car with 70,000 original miles on it. Was imported from Norway in 1986, grey market. From original owner. Problem: As a non turbo car, it has a different exhaust system. I need to get one, as the original has a few holes.
The main difference is the resonator has a single inlet, instead of two. Any ideas? Does the trap oxidizer problem exist on a non turbo diesel? Any other input would be appreciated. Car has electric windows on front doors only, the rears are hand crankers. Cloth interior (Black), gray exterior. Zender air dam, tinted windows, euro A/C (Not US climate control), manual seats, alloys, no power antenna. Very nice car. Just trekked to Vancouver BC at 80 plus mph with five folks and luggage, and it appears to get near 30MPG. It could go lots faster if the State Patrol weren't so picky. |

The Trap Oxidizer was to satisfy the US tree huggers, it would not be on a European car. I would think that your best bet would be to go to a muffler shop and have them bend up a pipe for you.
Good luck, |
