European Headlight wiring
Im in the garage putting european square headlamps on my 85 300D (W123) and got them mounted and everything but the wiring is off. I wired them as such:
1: Blank 2: Brown 3:Blank (city light) 4:White 5:Yellow 6: Green I doubled checked the wires and both headlamps are wired like that. But when I turn them on, they do come on but so do the turn indicators (they dont flash, they stay on). I can switch the highbeams on and off but I can't flash them. The turn signals don't work. Can someone confirm the wiring code above?

All right so I have the right wiring code... then I don't know why the side indicators come on with the headlights and why the turn signals don't work. IS it because im leaving pin #3, for the city lights blank because I don't want to use them? (I also don't see them on the inside of the headlamps).

man I wish I had that diagram when I did mine!
Hometown,
Your diagram is awesome! I wish I had that when I did my lights! Thanks for the info on the 4W city lights. Got to get some bulbs. What did you use to jump it? What kind of connector?
