two tank system

hey,

im planning on installing a two tank system by early summer, and i was wondering what exactly is needed. Iv read lots online about it and a friend of mine installed his and was going to help me but moved to London for 8 months for his job, so that sorta put a damper on the whole thing. I know i need a tank, fuel pump, fuel lines, coolant lines, that valve switch thing, but is there much else im missing? and whats the best way to come by all these items, even like the coolant/fuel lines.
also, what exactly has to be done in the engine compartment, as far as splicing into fuel lines and coolant lines and where ect.
thanks

dan

Where are you?

Geographic location has a lot to do with what system you install.

Have a great day.

Indeed, there is a near endless supply of info about two tank systems and what they are all about at that forum.

We do need to know where you live... to do anything really.

No need for fuel pump.
Car parts store for almost everything.
E bay for cheaper parts.
You have a lot of methods (eg. hih or hoh, dc and/or h20 heat, 1 or 2 3 ports vs 1 6 port) so decide on your setup before buying parts.
