I just spotted this car this morning. Typical high bay area price, but still an interesting car for those of us who like a manual trans. Probably cheaper than putting a 240D manual into your 300d, but non-turbo...

Interesting, the add doesn't give the mileage, so it may have high miles. The body/interior looks a little beat up, but not horrible. I like the clean engine compartment, less stuff than my 240D. It may be worthing checking out just because it has a manual and it's cheap. Makes my want to put euro bumpers on mine.

When imported here they probably had to change them, Same with that euro W126 in so. cal i had asked the same question but they said they changed them to meet US specs.

Looks nice might be worth looking at that ******** is like 10mins away from here, maybe my dad will trade his 300D for it he did want a manual.

Can't say about the odometer but can say that I was treated very well at ******** on an Alpha purchase many long years ago.
