ATE has a real long bleeder about 1 inch long...the bendix is short...but look close at the body..it should be cast into it in rasied relief.

Our '83 has a bendix on the left rear...and it looks like that one. So I'll say bendix.

its not really possible to tell from that picture. you need to look closely at it. there will either be a tiny ate in cursive or it will say bendix in plain sized letters.

Are you replacing the caliper or just the pads? My advice, for what it's worth, replace both sides. Once you have the caliper off, you should be able to see the letters ATE in cursive on the half closest to center of car. If not, thne they are bendix. For safety and peace of mind, I replaced all my calipers, rotors, pads, all four for $550. autopartsgiant.com It doesn't matter what you have now as long as you replace both sides similar.
