MBE900 Diesel
The MBE900 diesel engine is a family of sophisticated, electronically controlled 4 and 6-cylinder engines is available in a wide range of horsepower and torque ratings, up to 300 hp with 860 lb-ft of torque. The MBE900 engine is targeted to promote your business success. High-torque rise at low rpm assures drivability. Operating and maintenance costs have been minimized with intelligent design and state-of-the-art computer controlled performance. The expected engine life to major overhaul is 500,000 worry free miles (based on normal usage and maintenance). The MBE900 minimizes service as well. Oil changes were engineered to stretch between 15/20,000 miles, reducing operating and maintenance expenses and reducing vehicle downtime (based on in-city vs. highway driving). The MBE900 engine meets tough environmental standards such as Low Emission Vehicle (LEV) requirements without after treatment devices. The MBE900 engine has been designed for the lowest possible environmental impact. The MBE900 engine meets all of the required emissions standards in North America, including the stringent EPA/CARB regulations with six engine ratings LEV certified.
