I'm Having Tooooo Much Fun, 300SD

So, I put 4 gallons of my homemade biodiesel in my new car and then went and filled up with dino. Didn't want too much bio in it right now, as I have no filters for it. I'll do that when I'm stocked.
Went driving around to help slosh the two fuels together and when sitting at a light I could FEEL the car smooth out! I was grinning so hard my face hurts (no kindergarten jokes here).
I'm going to get mega exercise because I park where no one else does and I walk. I figure the car is 28 and has no door dings. I'm not going to be the one who causes the first one.
I opened the first aid kit not expecting it to be there, just would be a cool place to hide stuff and low! behold! the FULL UNUSED kit was still there! The aspirin pack said it expires 1/85. The band-aid box and everything is still there, perfect condition! No one has touched it in 28 years???
In the plastic envelope with the owners manual and all that is a metal plate with the name of the first owner, the body number, engine number, color number, birthday, and the like. Too Cool!
I figured out how to lift the seat, thankfully, now my head sticks up past the top of the seat, LOL. Thanks for that info.
This was supposed to be for my DH, but I think he'll be stuck with the minivan. . .I'm having too much fun! I FEEL different in this car.

So, am I nuts, or just a new (old) MB driver?

yup, Nuts. Me Too!

yours is a bit more seasoned than mine, but I got almost twice the mileage as yours.
I actually went and bought a spare car for parts, and now I think I will get both on the road.
what is it that makes these cars so lovable? I mean the Steering wheel is firm, the shifter handle is tight, the brakes are AWESOME for a car 1/2 the size.
what's not to love?
John

Too much fun

I know what you mean. I've had mine for 2 1/2 months and I still look forward to driving it every time I go somewhere and everyone who has seen it likes the car a lot. A suggestion on the first aid kit: take it out and put it away for memorabilia sake and put a new one in it's place in case someone actually needs to use it. I wonder what aspirin tastes like when it's been expired for 21+ years ?
