newbe owner 86 300sdl

Where can I get the 86 Benz delivery valve tool.
It looks like a splined deep well socket. I have a leak at the injector pump body to delivery valve seal.

I just got this almost cherry gold colered 300sdl with 361055 miles with upgraded head for a wopping $400. Jim

wow amazing deal, I hope you are related to the seller!
if not, I think you owe another 3K!
just to bring the price up to Great deal. right now you are in "stolen vehicle" territory.
do a search on here for my posts, at the bottom of 300sd leaking injectors I list where I found a HUGE parts store.
good luck!
John

I think I just located my missing 86 gold sdl with about 360k miles. This site is indeed wonderful. When can you return it. No hard feelings as long as it is back before the weekend. Went out to torch it for the insurance money but there it was gone. Even other members agree you stold it. I can absolutly identify it as it needs a few small things attended to. Oh yes, welcome to the site and remember you have until the weekend.

Welcome to the forum.

That was an excellent find. You cannot go wrong at that price.

You can rent the delivery valve socket, for free, from Dieseldiehard.......here:

Agreed, its better than my $400 non running '87 300D (now running)
Timely reading this thread! I just got the tool back from the third person to borrow it. One guy had it for about a month, the person before him had it for two months. I have to ask for it back by May since I have a job that requires it.

The spring compressor has travelled all over the US by now. In fact, I haven't seen it in months.

Sounds like me, working all hours of the day and night. I had the SD oil lines done in what, 90min or so? Including a new motor mount.
