Which VNT Turbos on What?

Which Merdedes TD models came with VNT turbos, what years? What size engines, etc? Part numbers for various VNT turbos?

VNT's come on newer models, but which ones I do not know. I'm quite sure it's only on the CDI models. By the way- TD usually means "diesel wagon" as the first Mercedes diesel wagons are "touring diesel". Later models of sedans may be called TD, but it does not say that on the rear emblem, and so a full name is used instead of "TD". Some VNT's come on ebay from time to time- do a search there using VNT.

Oops, in every other segment of the automotive world TD stands for "turbo diesel". I was trying to distinguish between gasoline models and diesels.

Any further info is appreciated.

There are amlost no pre-2000 diesel cars/vans/trucks in the USA with a VNT turbo.

The Mercedes/Dodge/Freightliner Sprinters use a GT22V on their 2.7L CDI engine. Alot (but not all) of VW's TDI's use a VNT15. There are very few other makes/models but those two stand out the most.

From the mid 90's and up, VNT's can be found all over europe. Search eBay motors UK and eBay Deutschland for "turbolader" and the majority of listings will be VNT turbos.

Yup, I'm familiar with the VNT-15. I have a couple in the garage. I am also familiar with eBay Deutchland. The issue is that I am trying to find a decent match to retrofit to my 82 300SD and knowing part numbers/vehicles that would be a good match would be very helpful.
