Quick Question need help!

I just did a fuel purge with seafoam and changed the fuel filters after.

I need to know the oring part number or size for the fuel filter thru bolt???

I am getting fuel leaking out the top big bolt head...

If you guys know it helps as I won't have to pull the filter and bolt at NAPA or the truck shop in town..

Thanks, Darryl

Thumbs up

Did the main filter not come with a new o-ring? Mine do. Anyway, just hit up a local autoparts store or hardware store and see what'll work is the best thing I can think of at the moment.

The filter had the big rubber seal on it. But the center bolt is leaking.

I'm sure I can find one at NAPA or other, but then I have to pull the filter and measure the oring. I was hoping I could buy one before I pull it again.

Anyone know the size?

I don't know the sizes, but I can tell you there are 2 different sizes depending on the year. Sometimes MB parts guys don't get this right. For that reason, you may be better off if you can take the center bolt to the o-ring supplier and match it up. Also, on the earlier years, there is a copper washer to be replaced along with the o-ring(s).
