Question Here I go again

To my wife's spite$upsidedowness I bought another 300d - former w126$280se-1985, that had been turned into a 300d (in spite to all officials here in Romania whoi would do all to stop you changing engines of cars) non turbo, engine year unknown for me; paid 2200 euros and started fighting all enamies that came to my yard with the "new" car. Here you don't find many w126 and I always wanted one.
Here's the list what I have done in one month time, kind of too much, but still acceptable - some things helped much by reading posts on this forum:
changed wind shield - 150$
changed left guide rod - with a "nice" solution for remofing the old one from the aluminium mount that is scorching the old ball joint rubber with a propane torch;
changed three stuck callipers & brake pads
repaired e-brake with a turkish kit - 20$
repaired drivers lock which was different by changing the little brass keys inside until it fit the key
repaired tle left rear door lock as it didn't open - only locked
tried to remove some ancient alarm - some spagetti wires stil there since I don't know where all belong
replaced left engine mount - smothened the jumping 300d a lot
replaced the lower oil pan $ oil as it leaked - former owner used 5w40 ????!!
replaced the front pulley and main seal as I found the big crank screw almost unscrewed and the pulley turning on its own
fought the little too high operating temperature (90 & upper in trafffic) by drilling holes in termostat - thanks Diesel Giant- and cleaned the radiator in my tub - to my wife's desperation ; was full of yellow cheese that got finally out after one week of repeated flushes - tried some 6 t-stats until going for the dewalt drill;
The injection pumps here (european version I think) don't have a rack dampener bolt as seen on forum, but something similar - adjusted and stoped the engine's cha cha cha to a bearable level
Of course adjusted valves - I have no special wrenches, fought 3 hours to get done- experience gained with my other 300d w123
replaced alternator & repaired starter as they were almost dead
fused the low beams lights - previous owner didn't use them for one year!!!!
cursed again the rear defrost - my 4th MB with no rear defrost working
put grease & oil in doors $ sills to prevent rusting
Still fighting the ABS eternal glowing light - still no result, even if I replaced a sensor and checked relays
Adjusted the shift rods as they had been torn by a destroyed flex disk
welded the exaust as I had some tractor noises at some point
replaced some lug bolts as the prevoius owner used 2long&thre short ones at alu rims almost stripping the threads at all weels
replaced tie rod ends - left- checked other ball joints - stil good for now
and many other small things that I already forgot about

This is about it, sorry for the long post, but I decide to le you all hear from me; kind of lonely here fighting all these problems, still far from end
If someone has some ABS related charms that might help me please do let me know
Thanks
Bogdan two timed 300 D'eed
