Why would the pump need to be calibrated at 39k and every non turbo I've ever had the speedo only went up to 85 not 110 which makes me think the speedo was swapped. But ya the Interior looks nice

If it was a 85 turbo diesel I can see 20 on brings trailer but he really isn't gonna get over 10 grand for that thing

Another low miles 300SDL, salvage title, the guy somehow has pics of the rear ender that gave it that status. I've seen worse rear enders.

83 300TD $11K and the engine is made out of real steel, imagine that.
Love the long winded write up.

And this 79 300TD for $21K

lol have u noticed that all w123 era sellers always write the smooth sounding essay/story on the car. Lol I kinda like reading them too but they usually drive me insane.

it's like they think some random person is gonna come across the car and be wooed by the million miles bs. When really it's just us losers that search "300d" in Craigslist every single day that see it hahaha

That first car would need to have pristine seats to even be in the ballpark of that price. I gather that some or many people are loopy about the 123 wagons, probably not quite that loopy. I wouldn't want one myself. I like the security that a trunk offers - out of sight, out of mind.
more and more of that, too much youtube? people place higher asks than settled prices from BaT

Those long winded write up are irritating. They sometimes give the history
of Mercedes Benz, and the development of the Diesel engine, it`s longevity,
the million miles they will go etc...

And some of the words like the one above, engine made out of "Real Steel".

The TD and the American Station Wagons made in the 50`s both have
a similar silhouette, like the Fords, and the line of GM cars and others.
The 55 sold for $2557 and the TD sold for around $33K or something
like that.
Today the Chevy is selling in the $20K - $40K range where the TD is $3K
- $10K range. Iam not too sure the above TD will sell for $21K.

Too bad in today`s world, we have all these SUV type vehicles that all look
the same, and with bad visibility. Maybe that is why back up Cameras are
so popular.
