300sdl 2-3 transmission flare help

Hey guys, I just picked up my dream 300sdl in Blacksburg, VA. It is cherry only 83,000 miles and if it had 8300 I would have believed them. Always dealer serviced, complete history, not a ding or scratch. Since this is my third SDL I am very aware of the problems that these vehicles face and have dealt with many of them, but I never had a transmission problem. The car flares every now and then on the 2-3 shift, if I ease into it smooth shift. Pedal 1/2 way down it will flare on me. I have read many of the posts Brian has laid out on this subject but I am a little apprehensive on this car due to its history and condition. Is there an adjustment I can make so the car will shift a little harder like my other SDLs? I don't mean a hard shift but the normal shift for a diesel benz. I appreciate any help you could give me on this topic.
Thanks

Hattie started a thread on this exact same problem tonight.
