Vacuum system issues.

What the best resource for fixing a vacuum leak? I have no power doors, my transmission shifts a little hard, and the center a/c vents don't blow. BTW it's an '82 300td wagon.

Thanks

**************.com also sells a couple of Vacuum System Troubleshooting Guides. That are pretty helpfull. Also try searching here there is lots of info on troubleshooting the vac system.

My hints.
The Vac system is setup like a tree. There is a main trunk that is the line comming from the vac pump. Then it starts branching. And it branches a lot. The branches branch out. So get a Mity vac if you don't have one and start at the main trunk and start working your way out the branches. There are complete branches you can disconnect and temporarily plug to see if your leak problems disapear. The door locks and the ACC system are two such branches you can plug.

Cool--I have an 82 wagon too!
