Transmission Leaking
I have a leak in my transmission that appears to be coming from where the throttle linkage enters the transmission, which is just above the transmission pan and forward of the transmission line that connects the trans to the radiator? Has anyone experienced this and how can it be fixed.? In the span of a week, while the car was parked and not driven, nearly all of the fluid has leaked out. Not sure if this is related, but a week before the leak began my other half was driving the car and it over heated on her while driving up a steep mountain. Any help would be appreciated.
Also, I'm looking for a 300TD engine for a wagon, complete and in good running condition. Thanks, Gary |

That assembly has an o-ring seal, and it gets rock hard and useless. However, that seal alone can't be responsible for letting nearly all the fluid out while it's not running and parked, unless the car is laying on its passenger side
