are the metal fuel lines 1 pc from engine to tank?

I have applied vac to the metal fuel line (source) in the engine compartment with the end at the tank plugged....it doesn't hold vac.

it probably has rust. look at all the points where it si clipped to the body of the car. it will rust there. you can splice in some hose and be on down the road in a jiffy. all new line is the better, permanend fix.
