I have visited the site and read any topic I could find relating to these two issues, but I thought my findings warranted my posting. The vehicle has had numerous repairs in the past 6 months, injectors, timing chain, "tune-up". The last mechanic to have worked on it said the injector pump or vacuum pump may need replacing as well. As the title of the post states, the car vibrates side to side at idle and then proceeds to surge when accelerating. I was somewhat surprised to have a side to side vibration from an inline 5 cylinder. My previous car was an 83 300D w/ 225,000 miles, I never experienced any of these issues. I currently have 130,000 on this one. Any and all advise and insight would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Robert Poe
