OT: Suburban web site

Sorry for the off topic posting but I cannot find the Suburban forum any longer. I have a tailgate window problem and hoped they could answer the question.

Anyone know what happened to them?

Thanks

For years, I have had to slam the tailgate in order to raise the window. Sometimes 5-10 times. Had it repaired once years ago but cannot remember what they did. The repair did not last long.

Now, it is not even responding to that very often. Many times, I have to leave the tailgate window open for a day or two while I slam the door, jiggle the switch in the body that is triggered by the door, and sometimes spray WD-40 in that switch.

It is a 1987 C20 (3/4 ton) 2wd Chevrolet Suburban.

From that stand point the barn doors are nice,

but I wish I had the tailgate. I hate the big bar in the rear view mirror on mine with the barn doors.
