I believe I've been to all the connections for fuse #2. I have narrowed the short circut down to the front half of the dome lamp circut. Disconnectiong the back dome lamp harness from under the dash the rear circut is good. I have checked or disconnected the following:
Emergency flashers, switch and flasher unit
Front dome lamp and door switches
Rear dome lamp on switch
Warning buzzer
Key switch wiring for the warning buzzer

The only thing I have not checked is the fuse panel it self as I'm sure it will be way too much fun.

Any other ideas or common places for the factory to clamp down on the wire harness?
